Plan my journey

 Customers travelling on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time to complete their journeys.

Some long-distance services to/from London Waterloo may be revised and diverted with journeys taking longer than usual.

On Saturday 21 March:

• Services between London Waterloo and Weymouth will be revised.
• Services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Eastleigh will start their journeys at Basingstoke.
• Stopping services between London Waterloo and Salisbury will start their journeys at Basingstoke.
• Services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth will be revised. Some services will start at Woking.
• Services between London Waterloo and Exeter will be revised.
• Services between London and Waterloo and Alton will start their journeys from Woking.
• Services between London Waterloo and Dorking will not run.
• Services between London Waterloo and Hampton Court will not run.
• Services between London Waterloo and Chessington South will not run.
• Services between London Waterloo and Shepperton will be revised and diverted between Clapham Junction and Kingston via Richmond.
• Services between London Waterloo and Weybridge via Staines will be diverted after Addlestone and will finish their journeys at Woking.
• Services between London Waterloo and Windsor will be revised.

On Sunday 22 March:

Services

• Services between London Waterloo and Weymouth will be revised.
• Services between London Waterloo and Poole via Eastleigh will be revised.
• Services between Eastleigh and Portsmouth will be revised.
• Services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Guildford will be revised.
• Services between London Waterloo and Exeter St Davids will be revised. Some services will start their journeys at Basingstoke.
• Most late afternoon and evening stopping services between London Waterloo and Salisbury will start from Basingstoke.
• Services between London Waterloo and Alton will start their journeys from Woking and will run hourly.
• Services between London Waterloo and Dorking will not run.
• Services between London Waterloo and Guildford via Epsom will start their journeys at Epsom.
• Services between London Waterloo and Shepperton will be revised and diverted between Clapham Junction and Kingston via Richmond.
• Afternoon and evening services between London Waterloo and Kingston via Hounslow will not run.
• Services between London Waterloo/Wimbledon and Guildford via Cobham will be revised and will start their journeys via Epson.
• Stopping services between London Waterloo and Guildford via Woking will not run.

Buses will replace trains on suburban routes from Clapham Junction throughout the weekend:

Saturday 21 March

• Weybridge calling at Earlsfield, Wimbledon, Surbiton, Esher, Hersham and Walton-on-Thames.
• Chessington South, calling at Earlsfield, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Motspur Park, Tolworth, Malden Manor, and Chessington North.
• Epsom, calling at Earlsfield, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Motspur Park, Worcester Park, Stoneleigh and Ewell West.
• Surbiton, a direct and stopping service will run, calling at Earlsfield, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, New Malden, Norbiton and Kingston.
• Effingham Junction, calling at Surbiton, Hinchley Wood, Claygate, Oxshott and Cobham & Stoke D’Abernon.
• A direct bus service will run between Addlestone and Weybridge.

Sunday 22 March

• Surbiton, a direct and stopping service will run, calling at Earlsfield, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, New Malden, Norbiton and Kingston.

• Hampton Court, calling at Earlsfield, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, New Malden, Berrylands,, Surbiton and Thames Ditton.
• Chessington South, calling at Earlsfield, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Motspur Park, Tolworth, Malden Manor, and Chessington North.
• Weybridge, calling at Surbiton, Esher, Hersham and Walton upon Thames.
• Addlestone to Weybridge.
• Weybridge calling at Surbiton, Esher, Hersham and Walston on Thames.
• Effingham Junction, calling at Surbiton, Hinchley Wood, Claygate, Oxshott and Cobham & Stoke D’Abernon.
• Epsom, calling at Earlsfield, Wimbledon, Raynes Park and, Motspur Park
• A direct bus service will run between Addlestone and Weybridge.

Line closures between Fareham, Havant and Portsmouth, 28 March to 2 April

Lines between Fareham, Havant and Portsmouth will be closed from Saturday 28 March to Thursday 2 April (inclusive) due to engineering work.
 
Buses will replace trains between Fareham, Havant and Portsmouth throughout the closure.
 
Saturday 28 March

Buses will replace trains between:

Havant and Portsmouth
Fareham and Portsmouth

Services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth (via Guildford) will finish their journeys at Havant. One train per hour will start from Woking.

Services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Eastleigh will only run between Basingstoke and Fareham.

Stopping services between Southampton Central and Portsmouth will finish their journeys at Fareham.

Sunday 29 March

Buses will replace trains between:

Havant and Portsmouth
Fareham and Portsmouth

Services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth (via Guildford) will finish their journeys at Havant. One train per hour will start from Woking.

Services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Eastleigh will be revised and will not run in the afternoon and evening.

Stopping services between Southampton Central and Portsmouth will finish journeys at Fareham.

Services between Eastleigh and Fareham will be revised all day.

Monday 30 March – Thursday 2 April

Buses will replace trains between:

Havant and Portsmouth
Fareham and Portsmouth

Services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Eastleigh will finish their journeys at Fareham.

Stopping services between Southampton Central and Portsmouth will finish their journeys at Fareham.

Services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth (via Guildford) will finish their journeys at Havant.

Engineering work will take place over the Easter weekend, Friday 3 to Monday 6 April, affecting travel between:

London Waterloo and Clapham Junction

Some lines between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction.

Due to sporting events taking place over the weekend, services to and from Clapham Junction are expected to be busier than normal. Customers should allow extra time to travel.

Queenstown Road station will be closed from Friday 3 – Monday 6 April (inclusive).

Winchester and St Denys

Lines will be closed Winchester and St Denys.

Buses will replace trains between:

Winchester, Southampton Airport Parkway and Southampton Central.

Between Winchester and Fareham.

Between Southampton Central and Romsey via Eastleigh.

Other services in the area will be revised or diverted.

Yeovil Junction and Honiton

A two-hourly shuttle train service will run to Honiton and from Exeter St Davids and will run between 0800 and 1800 approximately. Trains from Exeter to Honiton will run between 0725 and 1725.

In between these train services, an hourly bus service will extend between Yeovil and Exeter St Davids.

From 1800, until the end of service, buses will run between Yeovil and Exeter Central.

Customers requiring step-free access travelling to/from Yeovil Junction should consider allowing extra time to pass through or transfer at the station as step-free access is available via a barrow crossing and only during station staffing hours.

Please plan ahead and check before you travel.

From 2200 on Monday 19 January, the lifts at Exeter st Davids will be closed for renewal work. 

It is still possible to transfer between platforms with staff assistance over the track crossing. As it will take longer to get across the station, please allow extra time to travel. 

Please note, step-free access is still available from Platform 1 for South Western Railway services towards London.
